The Portland Chapter of Young Catholic Professionals invites young adults in their 20’s and 30’s to our next Executive Speaker Series on March 3 at Holy Rosary Church! We are pleased to welcome Pat Duffy as our speaker, who among many other activities is President of American Machine & Gear and a founding board member of YCP Portland!
YCP Portland's Executive Speaker Series is a free event in which executives share their professional and faith journeys. Come meet other young professionals in their 20's and 30's over complimentary drinks and appetizers before and after the evening's talk!
About Our Speaker
Pat Duffy has an incredible legacy of professional experience, including his role as President of American Machine & Gear, Inc., Nu-Tech Machining Inc., North American Mechanical Services Inc., and Duffy & Kinne Inc. Pat is also one of YCP Portland’s founding Board Members!
A fourth-generation Oregonian, Pat is a graduate of the Jesuit High School. He attended Occidental College to earn a BA in Religious Studies before earning his MBA at Harvard Business School. Pat is a member of Hapa Building Company LLC (doing business as Kalama Self Storage) and Treasurer of Legatus of Portland and of the Mother & Child Education Center.
Pat has been married to his wife Gail Ishikawa Duffy for 47 years, with 3 children and 2 grandchildren. They attend St. Pius X Parish, where Pat serves in various roles such as a lector and EMHC. Pat spent 30 years as a soccer referee and 29 years as a Track & Field, officiating at high school, college, professional, and international competitions.
Fun fact - Pat is also related to 13 saints and one Pope!

The Portland Chapter of Young Catholic Professionals invites you to our Lenten Retreat! If you are a young adult in your 20’s or 30’s, we hope you’ll join us at Mount Angel Abbey for a day of reflection, prayer, and fellowship in preparation for Easter.
* Optional Mass with the Benedictine community at 8:00 a.m.
* Main portion of the retreat runs from 9:00–2:30 p.m.
* Reflections given by Abbot Jeremy Driscoll, O.S.B.
* Time for Eucharistic Adoration and the Sacrament of Confession
* Lunch and discussion with other young adults
* Liturgy of the Hours
Optional gathering at the Benedictine Brewery (starting around 2:30 p.m., after the end of the retreat)
Space is limited, so sign up today. Please note that registration must be received no later than March 18.
While we are keeping the retreat free so that all young adults may attend, please consider a donation of $15 to help cover the cost. You can donate online or on the day of the retreat.
