Pope Francis declared 2021 a year of St. Joseph. St. Joseph is a stellar example of courage, obedience, acceptance, servant leadership, and work. Join the Portland Chapter of Young Catholic Professionals for a faith-filled morning as we explore St. Joseph's example.
Rolando Moreno, Director of Faith Formation & Catechesis at the Archdiocese of Portland, will be giving 2 talks on the theme of "With a Father's Heart: A Retreat on St. Joseph." Our chaplain, Fr. Hans Mueller, will celebrate Mass, and there will be time for Adoration, Confession, and small group discussion. Check in begins at 8:30 a.m. with coffee and fellowship, and the retreat will end with lunch.
This retreat is free and open to all young adults in their 20's and 30's, but donations are encouraged to help offset the cost.
All COVID precautions will be followed, including the wearing of masks, space to spread out more than 6 feet apart, and cleaning/sanitizing. For times that food or drink is being consumed, participants will be outside or in a well-ventilated area. Please be sure to bring layers, umbrella, etc. in case of weather.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. We hope to see you there!
